Hello! Welcome to my web site. I am an Ohio scrapbook artist specializing in custom paper piecing sets for you. I've had the scrapbooking "bug" since July 2001, but I've loved art in all its forms since a very early age. Media I have worked with include watercolor, pencil, colored pencil, ink, oil & acrylic paints, and sculpture. I have won many local art competitions and scholarships. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I am also an instructor at my local scrapbooking store, where I have been teaching since May 2003.
My scrapbooking passion blossomed when I returned from a trip to Paris & London. I had such wonderful photos and memorabilia that I wanted to create a very special place to showcase them. Getting started in scrapbooking was a daunting task at first, because there are so many different products available! However, a year later I had finished a beautiful album documenting all my memories of the "City of Lights". It turns out that I will have to split it into two volumes...the album is three inches thick and doesn't even include my layouts for London yet!
In the meantime, I began selling paper piecing sets on eBay (mostly to support my scrapbooking habit!) I've had a lot of success in this, so I decided to expand my services by providing customers direct access to my services. Thus was born "Artistic Treasures".
