Clay Aiken Paper Piecing features Clay showing off his stuff in a stylish tux and tie! Clay's tie is cut from a metallic, linen-texured pewter cardstock. All other pieces are hand-cut from colored cardstock, which I shade and detail with colored pencils. Face and hair are intricately hand-drawn, also with colored pencils! Clay measures 6-1/2" tall x 6-1/4" wide.

Title Page Topper has "Clay Aiken" in hand-cut script letters across the top. Letters are cut from light blue cardstock (to match Clay's baby blue eyes!), and are shaded with chalks and hilighted with white gel pen. The phrase "My American Idol" is printed on the white background. Corners and edges of background are shaded with blue chalks, and the title is matted with black cardstock. Title is 5-3/4" long x 2-5/8" tall.

Hanging Embellishment Tiles are stunning little pieces of artwork that commemorate some of Clay's hottest traits: his dazzling blue eyes, his phenomenal voice, and the famous hip-shake he did during his "Grease" performance on American Idol!

Each piece features a Clay photo that I have printed onto cardstock and coated with several layers of Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. This makes the pieces look like antiqued glass tiles! There are subtle cracks in the surface which add a really cool textural effect.

The resulting "tiles" are double matted and attached to journal boxes with baby blue fiber and mini brads. Journal boxes are chalked, matted, and printed with the phrases "Those Eyes...", "The Hip-shake", and "That Voice...".

Embellishment Tiles are each 3-1/2" wide. Eyes tile is 1-1/2" tall, while the Hip-shake and Voice tiles are 2-1/2" high. Journaling boxes from which the tiles hang are each approximately 1-1/2" wide x 1" tall.

Song Lyrics Journal Box features the words to Clay's hit song This is the Night, printed on vellum. The vellum is layered over music patterned paper, and attached with mini brads. The box is double matted with black and white. Journal box is 6-5/8" tall x 3-1/2" wide.

Deluxe Photo Frames are made of black and white cardstock, and have delicate machine stitching to echo the look of a tuxedo! I fold over the edges of the outer black mattes, cut mitered corners, and stitch the edges down with black thread. The white mattes are also attached with white stitching. Each frame will hold a photo or clipping 4" x 6" or smaller. Overall size of each matted frame is 5-1/8" wide x 7-1/8" high.
